Rev. Fred Marshall

Rev. Fred came to St. Paul’s in January of 2021. Prior to ordination he had served several terms as Rector’s Warden and Vestry member at the Anglican Cathedral, Chair of the Anglican Cemetery Committee of St. John’s & Mount Pearl, founding director and Chair of the Community Food Sharing Association, member of the Mount Pearl Lions Club among other church and community activities. His business career has been in the automotive business and energy sector. Rev. Fred began his study of theology in 2010 at Queen’s College in St. John’s, and since then has obtained an Associate in Theology, Bachelor of Theology in Discipleship and Ministry and a Master in Theology degrees. Rev. Fred was ordained as a Deacon at the Anglican Cathedral on January 25, 2013 and was ordained to the Sacred Priesthood on November 4 th , 2013. He has served in the Parish of the Living Water, consisting of congregations in Arnold’s Cove, Come By Chance, North Harbour and Sunnyside. He is currently Executive Officer of the Tri-Diocesan Joint Committee in addition to Priest-In-Charge of St. Paul’s Anglican Church. Rev. Fred and his wife, Sandy both grew up and live in St. John’s. They have two sons and six-grandchildren all living in Mount Pearl.
